Herbs that grow in the wild are often far richer in nutrients than cultivated salad plants. They contain high levels of dietary fibre, vitamins C and E, beta-carotene, folate, potassium, calcium, magnesium and manganese. The nettle, an herb recognized by everyone, is a veritable power pack of nutrients. It contains a variety of nutrients and can be considered an especially good source of vitamin C, folate, iron, and calcium.
