There is an exhibition about the Winter War at Raate Gate in Suomussalmi, as well as Lottakanttiini, a cafe and restaurant that serves lunch daily during the high season. We strive to use ingredients produced in Kainuu whenever possible. The berries used in our baked goods are from Kainuu. We arrange dining services for groups at any time of year subject to reservation. Our accommodation and event premises are located at the Portin Majatalo guesthouse on the Kuhmontie road. We can also arrange food courses for groups at this location.
