Environmental friendliness and social responsibility are close to our
hearts. We work with a large range of local companies and we enjoy being out in
natural surroundings. We offer active holidays surrounded by nature: ordinary
experiences of nature when guests have time to enjoy it. The general principle
is that if something is purchased, it must be good and high in quality. Natural
produce, high quality and handicrafts are valued. Our guests are looking for a
peaceful environment, nature-based activities and clean air. They want to feel
fitter so they are better able to cope with their working lives.
We aim to make excursions and holidays as environmentally friendly as possible.
Our decisions take account of any detrimental effects on the environment. Our
principles include using public transport, favouring accommodation and dining
services offered by small local tourism companies, local food and offering
ordinary everyday joy; foraging for mushrooms, eating breakfast outdoors, jams
made from forest berries and wood-fired saunas.
